If you can afford to, finish all owed work and then take a break. Try a new hobby, go on a trip, do something that you enjoy doing. Then come back with a fresh perspective, decide if fursuit making is still something you enjoy doing. And if not that’s ok too.

It’s just a lot closer to howls teddy now. I’d say the biggest visual difference is that it’s a little more shiny now. I only have samples of the first batch so I can’t speak on the final formulation they just released, but I’m optimistic.

The point is not to rush and finish a fursuit by the deadline, if I go over, no harm no foul. But the idea is that by giving myself a short deadline I give myself just enough stress to stop constantly overthinking every last detail.

I’m pretty damn sure that overthinking is the number one reason it takes me so long to finish suits. And it’s so hard to train your brain not to overthink every last detail. Something I’m trying out for my next project is a 24-48 hour fursuit head “challenge”.

Also I should add that since the swatches are tiny I haven’t been able to do any real quality testing And the teddy and beaver swatches all feel heat damaged so I really can’t speak to the quality of the fur

The pictures as a tad desaturated from what it looks like irl In order indoor white light, indoor natural light, indoor natural light with beaver. Because it’s shorter the beaver is a bit more saturated I’d say it’s like BigZ latte but a more saturated not super comparable to orange sherbet imo

Oh god yeah I mean there are cis women that go on T because of a hormonal imbalance or what have you and vice versa. There are a plethora of medical reasons that a cis person would go on hormone therapy. Especially considering the vast majority of changes caused by hormones are reversible.

I found an alternative that called posterazor. It’s free and open source AND works on windows, mac, linux, and online so it fits all the criteria. And it has more precise sizing so it’s even better for this sort of thing.

For poster scaling you could try rasterbator.net it scales based on how many sheet of paper you want to take up which is a bit weird but you could definitely get it to work

I think you technically could yeah. But honestly I don’t know if it’s worth it though. I don’t even offer payment plans anymore, it’s just too hard to deal with. If they want a payment plan use klarna or a credit card. I’m not equipped to handle those sort of reoccurring payments, but they are.

That is a super cool and bizarre defect. BigZs intentionally stretch fur is only 1 inch pile, but it almost fox like. It’s actually a lot like howl teddy with nice shiny guard hairs. If you don’t find what you need though, you should definitely try shirring with elastic thread!

Affinity which is the biggest competitor to photoshop is now available for free. It has pretty much all the same features as photoshop so I have no reason to think it wouldn’t have print management tools.
