Just speaking for film & TV there isn't really a job loss due to AI. It's been mostly due to successive punches of pandemic, streaming collapse, union strikes, studio consolidation and interest rates. This trend was in place way before Midjourney was pumping out pictures with 14 fingers.

The isolation is a _really_ critical factor to me. To the extent that there are communities of practice and those communities are critical for binding together expertise and feedback for trying new things, i worry about a sort of practical disintermediation of expertise.
