Seriously, though, this is a screenshot I took of my mindmap of her "setting" almost two years ago. I think FAR too much about Essa!

A mindmap / Obsidian canvas for the sci-fi OC "Essa Stiik".

I love these! Here's mine. I think. There were a few I wanted to pick.

Oh, this one's fun! Here's one I really like. An uncharacteristically grounded scene in a sapphic weird-western I'm working on!

A quote from the series "The Well" featuring a character's last words (and last moments):

"Wait!" [redacted] blurted out stupidly as [redacted] turned her attention to him. His hands were out in a placating gesture like he could somehow explain away what he and his friend were doing here, what they had planned on doing, all while his friend was sobbing and bleeding out in the dust. [redacted] didn't give him time to work up a story, she fanned the hammer again and sent him to his maker.

YEARS ago, a well-meaning roomie, a TRULY good person, didn't know who they were talking to. To be fair, neither did I. He was commenting on a free local 'zine's headline about sex workers in my city. He thought the woman in the photo wasn't 'sexy' because she looked like this.

A side-by-side image of a curvy woman wearing only panties and a t-shirt held up by her teeth on the left, and the same woman, fully nude on the right.

I was going to bump my story of the week, but not now. Jack, who came to live with me in 2021 with his brother, Tiger, left me this morning. It was quiet, he was in my arms wrapped in his favourite fuzzy blanket with his favourite fish toy. Say hi to Tiger for me, buddy. 💔 #cats #memoriam #mourning

*cough* What? Unrelated, this episode of ST:DS9 left an INDELIBLE mark. No reason. 😅

I also saw there's a new chapter up on your AO3 page on Wednesday! Look at those stats! 🥰 I'm slowly catching up.

A screenshot of the public statistics from Emoira's AO3 publication of "Aftertaste". >90k words, a dozen bookmarks, 88 kudos. The story seems to be very successful.

My only other OC that I've (semi-)commissioned art of is an alien named Essa Stiik. She's *also* Chaotic Optimist but in an otherwise hard-sci-fi universe. I only have the one piece of real art of her so far, done by my friend @xxxzilu.bsky.social but I'd love to see more takes on her.

Knotty Biscotti 🇨🇦💪🏾 @knottybiscotti.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

Oh, gosh! My OC, Kezzy (Keziah Mercer), is always available! Some images attached of previous commissions. She is RELENTLESSLY, OBSESSIVELY optimistic, chaotic and supa-hrony! Hehe. But if you're not interested in her vibe, that's also cool, she's not for everyone!

Look. This? It's stupid, juvenile, and completely out of context, so it's totally unfair. But it's also funny and makes an evil person look stupid. So I'm just gonna share. #trump #bible #faith #religion #politics

Donald Trump refuses to answer a question about one or two of he favourite bible verses after claiming that the bible is his favourite book. Filmed during the 2016 presidential campaign, screeshot captured from a stream of The Daily Show in 2026.

Silly as it probably is, I love this all the more because of what she's actually singing! 😂 I mean, The Mouse gave us a great story, but it's basically just AU fanfic. Hans Christian Andersen's version goes HARD! And it's goooood! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lit...

But the thing is, they DO like the "icky porn", they're just mostly a bunch of closeted weirdos who are really into transgender and gay porn and are taking the Homer Simpson approach to covering it up.

Good morning, BlueSky friends! I survived yesterday, hooray! Now to burn through the rest of the (for me) short week and try to not be TOO bouncy about how warm it's supposed to be this Friday! Getting my bikes out, woooooo!

The cover art for the 7" single by Queen for "Bicycle Race" and "Fat Bottomed Girls", a rare "double-a-side" single. The album art features a nude woman, shot from behind, riding a bicycle. Before the release a red bikini bottom was painted on as the label would not approve the original photo. For the US release of the single a matching bikini top was also painted on.

I also post some (most) of my writing to AO3 and I created a custom site skin. It's still WIP, it shows, but I'm happy with it atm. I can't share it there but I'll share it here: t.ly/Xm5lE If you want to make suggestions, that'd be cool. Looks best with Raleway and Coming Soon fonts installed.

I just want things to be okay. I want everyone to be warm and safe and loved and not hungry and not afraid and not angry and to just feel the simple joy of existing in the moment. That's "all" I want.

Saw this and I thought it was a cool idea! So here's ten that I think say a lot about me! (It's only 10 games, really!)

A collage of video game cover art and advertisements spanning about 30 years that represent some of my most beloved games. Alien: Isolation, Darkest Dungeon, Super Metroid, Solaris, Max Payne 2, Rimworld, Juno First, Castlevania III, Pitfall II and R-Type. The background of the collage includes the urban-legend game Polybius.

Soooo … v1.0 didn't turn out awesome, but it works! I learned a lot! I'm working on v2.0 today, nearly done, just a bit more tweaking and it might be ready to share. I'm gonna need to find a home for my not-completely-successful versions. HMU if you're interested in a WIP. #miniatures #minipainting

😢 Ours is a two-party system that alternates between two additional kingmaker parties. It's better? I think?

A still from the Simpson's Halloween episode where Kang and Kodos each take over one of the two political parties in the USA, resulting in Kang being elected president. Superimposed text is a quote from the episode where a member of the assembled crowd says "Well I believe I'll vote for a third party candidate." and the aliens respond "Go ahead – throw your vote away!"

Aw, thank you! She'd love to hear that! 😂 This piece really does capture her manic sort of energy and I absolutely adore it! There's others of her that I love too, but nobody's quite nailed it like BBR. Here's a couple more, though, because I love any excuse to talk about Kez!

An illustration of a young woman looking back at the viewer with a serious expression on her face. She is dressed in a white shirt, black tie, a pinstriped vest, black trousers and shiny black shoes. She wouldn't look out of place on stage with a jazz band.

Oh absolutely! I love sharing art of her! And talking about her! She lives in my head CONSTANTLY! 😆 This is she, NSFW, but it's the best representation I've seen of what her hair should look like. This one was done by the AMAZING @bigbossrequiem.bsky.social and I love it so much!
