Have started a side quest! A wonderfully textured Stephen West scarf using lots of faves from my stash incl. a bouclé yarn for the loops and a Suri silk DK for a mesh stitch. It's knitted square then will be folded to make a triangular scarf. #wipwednesday #knitsky www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
Close-up photo of a hand knit scarf on a circular metal needle, laying of a knobbly grey wool rug. About 25cm of the knitting is visible and only the last 30cm of the length (total measures about 95cm). Knitted in stripes of different stitches, from bottom to top: seed stitch, welt, mesh, garter, mesh, loop, mesh, garter. All yarns are DK incl. Isager Soft, Suri silk DK, Drops Daisy, Pebble Island. Some kidsilk haze is held double with some yarn.

Excited to have almost finished my zigzag scarf, as it's just gone on and on and on 😂 I'll keep going until I've finished the cream and lilac balls, another 6-8 inches. Would make again but in Aran weight and in just one colour. Pattern: Outline by Hedgehog Fibres. #showmeyourknits #knitsky
Long (about a yard and a half) fingering-weight scarf with a zigzag pattern, laid out of a grey sofa. Knitting is still on the needles. Mix of merino and silk mohair yarns in a variegated cream, lilac, smokey lavender and greyish cream.

This is how my #LightItUpMAL looks today. I haven't been knitting frantically through the night - this is after a week's worth of knitting! The mohair is so unforgiving though on 6mm needles! I'm not happy about the unevenness of my stitches 😬 #Knitting
The start of a hand-knitted cardigan on 6mm cable needles and the sleeve stitches on spare cables. Cardigan is being made with 2 strands of chalky pink silk mohair, the 2 balls of yarn are lying on the garment. The knitting is on dark grey sofa cushions.
