Morning thoughts: i recently met a young Egyptian-born woman. We were having a nice conversation when she stated that she had been in the US for 14 years. I said, "Are you safe?" She replied that yes she and her family are citizens. I replied "All safe for now." She knew what I meant. 1/3

Morning thoughts: Yesterday FOTUS met with Zelenskyy to discuss peace in Ukraine. FOTUS, once again, embarrassed America as he bragged to Zelenskyy about his Mar-a-Lago property and his 2-hour phone call with the Ukrainian invader, Putin. Zelenskyy showed more courtesy than most leaders would.

Late morning thoughts: I can remember when a standard mortgage was 15 years. Then it gradually rose to 30 years. 30 years is a ridiculously long time to be at a set rate mortgage. Interest rates can fluctuate a lot over 30 years. No one would want to gamble on an interest rate for 50 years. 1/4

Morning thoughts: We are a very rich country but the wealth is very poorly distributed. 10% of the population holds 70% of the wealth. If corporations gave their employees adequate wages, the need for Medicaid, SNAP, subsidized rent, and subsidized childcare would be minimal. Do Better!

She paid her Section 8 rent, her car payment on an older model used KIA, and had less than $50 left for gas and food for the next two weeks. She depends on SNAP to make it to her next payday when she goes 1/2
