concessions from Canada. For the past 22 years, my business model has been to carry goods sourced solely within Canada, primarily from smaller farms, mills & indie dyers. I did make an exception this year when I decided to carry leather storage binders handcrafted in Ukraine for knitting & crochet..

June 1-8 is Ocean Week Canada. PEI is a province surrounded by ocean. The waters are my peaceful & quiet space, & they need our protection. In my own small way, I try to contribute to a healthy earth by promoting the value of natural fibres like wool over petroleum-based yarns like acrylic. 1/2

This lovely wool, hand-dyed in Manitoba, is a blend of 75% superwash merino wool and 25% nylon. Put up in 3.5 oz (100 g) skeins with approximately 437 yards (400 m) per skein.

This beautiful sock weight superwash merino wool with 25% nylon is hand-dyed in Manitoba, has 100 g & appx 400 m & comes in 8 glorious colourways. Ideal for a lightweight summer top because wool is temperature regulating, breathable, & anti-bacterial so it needs less washing. Ideal for the summer!

I've reported them to Shopify! A merchant in Charlottetown let me know that their website is done through Shopify and suggested as many people as possible report them. My sister also reported their page to Facebook. They have a similar site (The Weston Sister Banff) - older"sisters"...
