June 1-8 is Ocean Week Canada. PEI is a province surrounded by ocean. The waters are my peaceful & quiet space, & they need our protection. In my own small way, I try to contribute to a healthy earth by promoting the value of natural fibres like wool over petroleum-based yarns like acrylic. 1/2

This beautiful sock weight superwash merino wool with 25% nylon is hand-dyed in Manitoba, has 100 g & appx 400 m & comes in 8 glorious colourways. Ideal for a lightweight summer top because wool is temperature regulating, breathable, & anti-bacterial so it needs less washing. Ideal for the summer!

April is Earth Month & the theme is "Our Power, Our Planet". I wrote my April "Earth Day" blog before I even knew what the official 2026 theme was! But it suits perfectly.
