🚨EEB folks: There are only 22 opportunities being advertised to SACNAS attendees next week. 👀 Only 22?! Across all of EEB? We can do better than that. You are missing out if you don't try and recruit at this conference! Share 👇🏼 with your colleagues and departments. #evoevo #botany 🌎

It's not okay to offer funding where the recipient uses their own money first and is reimbursed later. This barrier puts serious pressure on those in less privileged positions. Many struggle (silently) or lose out completely. Reduce inequity by offering resources up front.

Sent a cold email this morning that resulted in a phone call where I was told me dream project is not only doable, but it will also cost a fraction of what I originally thought! I'm so excited to get this going!

Hello all! I'm Katie, and I study the molecular evolution of various traits (fin variation, response to pressure, microbiome establishment) in fishes! I've just moved to Tulsa, OK to open my lab and look forward to connecting with others here!

Genetics/EvoDevo Faculty- what grants do you recommend for new faculty? This could be ones that are only available in your first x years and I shouldn't miss out on or ones that you just found useful for getting things started. I'm trying to get a list going!

As much as I love a new computer, re-installing all my analysis programs so they run with the updated operating system might kill me.

House being sprayed for bugs means it is bring your dog to work day. He's already gotten more pets than he knows what to do with, but he still misses his couch. Spoiled pup. ❤️
