I'm halfway through the John Powers "quadrilogy" again. I had forgotten how much I enjoy these books. Starting "The Unoriginal Sinner and The Ice-Cream God" after finishing "The Last Catholic In America " and "Do Black Patent Leather Shoes Really Reflect Up."

No sleep. One of my teeth is killing me. Not sure if it's a cracked tooth, if I need a root canal, or some kind of infection. I've taken 2 Tylenol-3 and they have barely taken the edge off. I get temporary relief from cold water on that side of my mouth, but that only lasts a minute or two.
