If you want to see indie projects succeed, you have to spearhead the support for them. Talk openly about other people’s work and how much you like it, draw fanart, reshare content about the project, send it to a friend, leave comments on every update, donate money, etc.

But these games are important! People should feel more comfortable celebrating them and discussing them seriously! They shaped developers like myself and offered elements that honestly I'm still craving more of from the industry - elements I'm hopeful will return to games in the future✨

Consume Me is a surprise favorite for me coming in clutch at the end of the year🍫 Somehow this game has me desperate to "perfect" my weeks all the while openly satirizing the impossibility of "having it all" - particularly in the midst of being a hormonal mess of a teenager🫥
