A post by Pranay Pathole (@PPathole) from April 12, 2019:

Tech enthusiasts: My entire house is smart.

Tech workers: The only piece of technology in my house is a printer and I keep a gun next to it so I can shoot it if it makes a noise I don't recognize.

I have a personal rule, as a Chicagoan and a Chicago Public School teacher: Whenever his name is invoked, I am obliged to post this image.

It is simply not possible for all of these people who claim to have spoken with Mitch McConnell were telling the truth, there just isn't that much time in a day. However, unlike these other charlatans, I *have* spoken to Mitch McConnell, for nearly 20 minutes.

Obligatory photobomb: images.jacobinmag.com/wp-content/u... Locals here in Chicago think he'll probably run for the open US Senate seat that Durbin is retiring from.

My Creality SR-10 had no trouble with it, at 0.1 mm 25% infill, with no support, using just the file that’s on Thingiverse without any modification. I’m trying it at 0.2 mm 15% now, in hopes that I can print a few hundred by the end of the week.

The part where I burned the absolute fuck out of my wrist on Sunday and am now looking forward to when my dead epidermis finally starts sloughing off tomorrow, will hopefully not end up being the best part of my week. I guess we’ll see.
Jamey’s wrist, which is burned as fuck, with nasty red and brown splotches of dead skin.

Not me about to get banned from r/ElonMusk.
A user on Reddit has posted:
I'd love for Elon to get into the gene engineering business. Imagine being able to buy a kit on amazon and being able to customize anything you want about your genes. $99 per kit.

I, u/jamey1138, have replied:
I think that *would* solve some of our social problems, yes, but maybe not in the way you're thinking of.

I hear you. In my neighborhood, the land is usually worth more than the building (definitely true of my house). On the plus side, having a yard means I get to eat food that I grow myself, which is, I admit, a luxury.
Black currants, raspberries, red currants, and gooseberries, all picked in a single day in summer, 2025, from my own yard

If you see this, post a bunny
A rabbit is jumping, stretched out long, over a grassy backyard. In the foreground, there is a piece of wood upon which cucumbers are vining. It was a pleasant summer, and this backyard bun was a frequent and very welcome guest.
