IMO, KCs are just digital games. There’s no difference really in sharing a KC and using something like a family plan or game sharing for a digital entitlement. The game still doesn’t exist except for on those servers which are beholden to platform owners.

Whoops! That’s my bad on the Vita. I thought they said you *couldn’t* redownload your games. That actually makes me feel better lol. The point still remains though that I don’t think MSFT/Sony/Nintendo keep those CDNs available until the heat death of the universe.

They do kill the eventual second hard market though. They are bound to the whims of digital storefronts existing just like a normal digital game. If a Key Card format existed on Vita, for instance, it would no longer be usable in 2028. It’s not really a solution to used games or preservation IMO.

I imagine because other than first party games, most of their releases are Key Cards which is effectively a digital entitlement wrapped on an SD Card. Obviously some disc based games are also just basically “please download the update” discs but I’d still say the majority have a version of the game.

Drones absolutely RIPPED when it came out. Really a return to form after The Second Law kinda missed for me (even if I respect the idea of “We’re gonna make an electronic album w/o a Mac”. I’ve just now realized though I’m TWO albums behind. Simulation was my last. It’s been a rough few years lol.

Is FH6 getting a physical? FH5 didn’t but it released like five years later. Gears is a cool get for the collection because it’s actually ONLY available on physical on PS5.

I’ve been a certified Muse-head since Origins of Symmetry. I knew like half their catalog on bass up through The Resistance. I still need to peep the new album.

I see a missing slot for Gears Reloaded. :)

I actually love the poetry of Spain winning this even though I’m a Messi fan. I cannot fathom a 44-year old Messi playing another WC unless he just wants the record. The passing down of the crown to his Barca teammate, Spain now going undefeated in both finals. It’s great storylines.

You could also try The Last Remnant which is a SaGa game in all but name (made by all the same people) and has a more The Lost Odyssey adjacent battle system that’s a little more involved. In TLR you can not talk to someone in Chapter 1 that looks you out of beating the true ending lmao.

The Battle System is also sort of hybrid ATB so it’s not quite regular old jRPG. But at the end of the day you’d know pretty quickly if you’d fuck with it. SaGa is all about making insanely broken combos and builds and working against esoteric combat systems that kinda punish you.

the “Spark” system. Basically the way you learn new attacks is that randomly in battle your character gets “inspired” and suddenly you’re doing some insanely cool new move you’ve never seen before. It also influenced by who you have in battle. There’s like dozens of recruitable characters.
