I built this to improve my home and office security. Instead of buying another single-purpose smart system, I figured I could just use the old tech I already had.

It still doesn’t stop being so cool to see agents organize work by themselves across different systems. For context, by “developer agent”, it means a regular Claude Code session it saw running on my laptop (while it was running on a dedicated server itself).
Screenshot of a desktop chat app with a sidebar of conversations (Andy, Marketing, CFO, Health, Support, Legal, CBDO, Project Manager, Statsy, Sandy) and the "Marketing" thread open, headed by a device label "Klemens's MacBook Pro (Desktop)". The thread shows a user message, "I think it was not saved correctly or something, as the overlay is lost again. While we are at it, remake the overlay, it's currently maybe taking too much room", followed by a reply beginning "Saving wasn't the problem. The Dollop release script rewrites the Mini's OBS setup from scratch, so when the stream moved to the new setup at 18:45, it removed the overlay I'd added by hand." and continuing "I've remade the overlay as a slim single row, "slop | SLOP.EE/LIVE", at the top centre", with two grey "Updated memory for Marketing" notes marked "Shared".

It’s been over 2 months that Apple has taken for the podnod iOS version review. Google took 2 days to review. It’s mind-boggling how poor Apple’s service is. I assume it’s by design? I’m already porting all my other apps to Android. Just in case I lose hope and give up 🫠
A deployment dashboard listing two app build targets side by side. The top row reads "Android App" with "live kempu/PodNod" and the description "The Expo/React Native Android app, built on the paired Mac from RELEASE_REF=live and shipped in…", alongside version "0.1.97" tagged "#785", the commit message "Merge pull request #244 from kempu/master", "51 seconds ago · Klemens Arro", a green "Up to date" badge and a black "Deploy" button; the bottom row reads "iOS App" with "live kempu/PodNod", commit "50b5d5bb", "Order the version list here, because Apple will not sort it", "last month · Klemens Arro", an amber "↑ 526 commits behind" badge and another "Deploy" button.

A single white bulleted line of monospaced text on a black background, reading: "I've been through OpenAI's dots materials and checked EA against each capability. EA already matches or beats dots on most of what dots can do. What EA lacks is dots' control layer: the rules that decide what the agent may do before it does it." The word "do" is italicised.

It’s only been one day, so take this with a grain of salt. So far, I’m liking Opus 5.5. It seems faster, has much better design taste, and writes more clearly (though it could be shorter). Sadly, it comes at a price. The tokens are cheaper, but it seems to use more per task.
“Cost per Task” bar chart compares average pay-per-token API cost per task in USD, with “Lower is better”; costs rise from $0.18 for Codex GPT-6 Luna (max) to $13.0 for Claude Code AI Opus 5.5 (max). Labels include “Artificial Analysis,” and the bars represent models from OpenAI, DeepSeek, Google, Alibaba, Meta, Z.ai, Cognition, Moonshot AI, SpaceXAI, and Anthropic.
