Why containment is the real fix for prompt injection: a hidden order has no power if nothing will execute it. The model still reads the content. It just cannot be tricked into obeying it. heysec.com/2026/07/prompt-injection…

Prompt Injection, Made Simple – heySec
Prompt injection occurs when hidden commands in untrusted text trick an AI into ignoring its instructions. It is a common risk for any software using an AI model, but it can be solved without a security team. This guide explains how to protect your applications by containing incoming text so it is always treated as data, not commands.

A model's reply is a suggestion. Never a signed instruction. If your code renders it as HTML, runs it as SQL, or pipes it to a shell, a manipulated response becomes a manipulated action. heysec.com/2026/06/a-plain-language…

Prompt injection 101 for the LLM apps you’re shipping – heySec
If your application feeds outside text like emails or web pages to a language model, it is vulnerable to prompt injection. Because LLMs cannot distinguish between instructions and data, traditional filters fail. This guide explains a practical pattern to secure your app by scanning and containing untrusted inputs.

Prompt injection for risk owners: an AI agent reads email, opens files, calls tools. A hidden instruction steers it into leaking data or acting without permission. Same breach outcomes. New entry point: plain text. heysec.com/2026/07/what-is-prompt-i…

Most teams think prompt injection means the user's question. For RAG it also means the documents you retrieve. If anyone can write to your knowledge base, they can plant instructions that show up in a trusted answer. heysec.com/2026/06/a-plain-language…...
