@m_artigiani what do you mean by ethically? I think when you refer to training data there is not really a difference between most models. I mainly use Mistral because I don't want to use US big tech solutions.

@stefan I still don't understand.. first, who are that gatekeepers you want to replace with whom? And second, how should diversity increase without growth? IMO everybody should have a fediverse account like most people with access to the internet have an email address or a phone number.

Warum sind Videos auf Mastodon so langsam? Meistens dauert es ewig bis ein Video geladen ist und beginnt, um dann mittendrin doch wieder 10-20 Sekunden zu unterbrechen. Habt ihr das auch oder liegt es an mir?
