Here is one contest that refuses to use AI checkers to “read” submissions. I respect their rationale, too. There’s no way to know what an AI checker might do with that submitted unpublished writing, now or in the future.

Razmi Farook wrote that “we do not currently use AI checkers in our judging process because this is a prize for
unpublished fiction. To supply unpublished original work to an AI checker would raise significant concerns surrounding consent and artistic ownership. We also do not use AI to judge stories at any stage of the process.“

This #DeltaAirlines statement is disingenuous and ludicrous. While Delta can’t surmise the ticket holder’s reasons for flying, the fact that tickets we’re booked by the govt. agency ICE should offer up a MASSIVE clue. And what are tickets if not advanced notice? C’mon Delta, do better.

This effectively states that if you buy a phone that runs Google services, app devs will have to verify their apps with Google (probably signed by Google) before they can be side loaded. You’d have to buy a phone that fully disables all Google services to get unrestricted side loading.

We can nearly all agree that January 6th, 2020 was an insurrection. Trump's action was mounted entirely to thwart the will of the voters and remain in office illegally beyond his term. There was violence involved at the Capitol that day.
