Blood Bowl is a fantastic tabletop tactics RPG. It started in the 80s as a European parody of football. At its core it's a probability management game. It's swingy, unbalanced, and rich in theme. There's a ton of in person leagues. You should give it a shot.

Yes. I expect they'll retrograde slightly due to the loss of Swarming. That you can caddy Star Players on a team with easy mutation access Skaven - well it's a challenge. Denizens are still very beatable despite stellar outcomes. You'll put half their team in the box on a bad day.

I finally got a bit of games in with them. If you have good positioning, they are great. 'Breathe Fire' giving 67% prone status regardless of markings makes it a brutal early game sack move.

We don't really know how they'll look after a team rewrite. Chaos Dwarfs and Vampires both play radically different than previous editions. I'd still argue that a new player with Tomb Kings is more of a threat than one with Black Orcs.
