In the sixties it seemed half the cars on the road were a VW beetle or bus. Affordable, simple, reliable, efficient transportation. Not so good in crashes, but I do wish someone could re reate that spirit in an EV form.

Not sure if any other countries will heed Trump"s call for assistance, given the BS he calls them and puts rhem through. If any does, they should make clear they are helping clean up the mess he created, and should damn well demand repeal of any tariffs he imposed on them. JMO.

We should focus on 2026 mid-terms NOW. A total of 468 seats in the US Congress (33 Senate seats and all 435 House seats) are up for election on November 3, 2026. If we get control of Congress we can at least stop some of Trump's insanity
