Anyone else noticed this weird "sexy metal" trend under metalcore bands having emerged the last year or so? Like, a VERY specific type. Often underlined with trap beats and "raunchy" lyrics... Very strange. And often also noticeably artificial in hopes of jumping the hype train.

I really like the way we say that music you really like "resonates" with you tbh. Some songs literally invoke a weird physical response when i listen to them. It literally feels like that song vibrates on the same frequency as my own. It feels like an overload but in a positive way?
