I used to invest a large amount of time and labor to the VRChat rave community. For the first time EVER, I felt it. I finally got that feeling, the one our ancestors didn't have to search for: Belonging. I found purpose in contributing to a healthy culture & for our most vulnerable to feel safe.

Backstory: Ive made this map as a re-creation of the Dry lake bed outside of Boulder City, Nevada. Where I grew up 4-wheeling, camping, and exploring. Alas, I am of the desert, where the moon lights the earth beneath me and the wind howls. I long for its desolate grasp on my consciousness again.

bigg big thing is Amnesia. Large chunks of it, not just driving home- making big purchases you dont recognize, thinking someone else must have moved the couch, etc. thats how i ruled out DID personally BUT- dissociation is a spectrum. This is my graph, and maybe itd help you to do one!
