Literally just look up if it's actively harmful to dogs, if it's not, go ahead. If it upsets their stomach, you stop giving it to them. Literal dog food upset my dog's stomach, so are they claiming you should never give your dog, dog food? Dogs are varied as much as people are when it comes to diet.

Okay I make this criticism as a bit of self crit as well. A big thing I've noticed is as leftists we can often forget the social aspect of socialism. When you're too removed from the average person, it's incredibly easy to get liberal/idealistic instead of material. I'll expand in the next post.

As this is a big sporting event, I'd say let them mostly do whatever, unless it leads to serious brawls in the stadium. Which is probably why they're pulling controversial political symbols. Always assume the bottom line over anything else even self destruction when it comes to liberals.

So for those still unsure where I stand, fuck Trump. I support Iran against the west. I don't support the current government, but outside of a full scale socialist revolution, I generally don't support toppling it and turning it into a yet another US colony. This whole mess is just to hit BRICS.

Well I got an appointment lined up to see the doc about getting back on hormones now that I have insurance again. Going to be awhile till I can see them, but hey at least that's something. Got a working phone again and an appointment. Now I just wish I lived in a country with good healthcare.

When someone wants something else, point them to something else. Stop normalizing a terrible ttrpg experience that forces people into an experience they don't want to have. I absolutely adore the ttrpg scene and what systems people have come with. Normalize playing other systems.

If people WANT exactly what DnD is offering, then great. Point them to that game. I know people who exactly want a combat heavy, but loose tactical board game. They don't want a full war game experience, just a loose one. It's perfect for that. Most people don't want that. Both are fine.

It's a system that overwhelmingly fails at everything it tries to do, which means a hell of a lot more work for the DM to make the game fun. It's a board game that forgets it's a board game. It incentivizes players to ruin the experience for everyone else. Stop trying to be a salesperson for Hasbro.

The vast majority of people who use DnD, barely use any of it to actually play ttrpgs because they aren't interested in rules heavy systems. So why don't we suggest rules light systems instead of just telling them to strip down DnD rules? If someone isn't interested in combat, why do we suggest DnD?

See I don't mind if you like DnD personally. I'm fine if you even change the game to fit your table. No matter what you do, you're still a ttrpg player in my eyes. What I don't understand is how overwhelmingly DnD does not fulfill ANY requirements that people want, yet we still push it on people.

Like I get that there are positive uses for AI, but not with AI that steals without attribution. I'm for remixing someone's work, but not without attribution. Then there's the people who don't use AI to write code but use it to find problems in their code, and the result is just a buggy mess still.

I also think video games need to be more insulting like Disco Elysium with the routes they have for centrist and fash. With fash you can die from morale checks, so it forces you into becoming a drunken loser to cope.

Honestly I hardly ever feel bad about choosing villian options in video games, mostly because most protaganists in video games feel like villians to me. So often they're some far right ideal of a "good person". The main exception are games by Toby Fox. That guy gets it.
