A lot of emulator widescreen patches look really bad to me tbh. So many of them horribly stretch the UI and it just looks so ugly, especially in menu heavy games such as JRPGs. Idk why people play games like this rather than just playing in 4:3

One detail I really like in the original Persona 4 is how the fog changes depending on what floor you're on in Yukiko's Castle Floors 1-2 have bright lighting and white fog Floors 3-4 start to darken and gain a subtle red tint to the fog Floors 5-8 are darker and fully saturated in red fog

Darker corridor, fog turning slightly red

Dark corridor, fog is a bright, pure red

A big chunk of P5 dungeon crawling is walking down corridors until you get to a puzzle where they have the party chime in to explain exactly what you need to do step by step and then Morgana or Makoto chimes in to repeat what was just said then a little notification appears telling you what was said

Adventure DX is a remaster of Adventure 1 and it's extremely infamous for being one of the worst remasters of all time, butchering everything visually from textures to lighting, adding a ton of bugs and physics issues, extremely compressed audio, it's not worth playing in the slightest

One of my biggest pet peeves with modern gaming is that it feels like the second anything turns like at least 15-20 years old, gamers get scared and think it's bad and clunky and outdated and needs a remake or else it's unplayable. Like it's not that hard to play PS2 games guys

Potemkin is genuinely one of the most well designed grapplers in fg history. He has all the strengths and weaknesses of a traditional grappler but given the tools such as slidehead and hammer fall to not invalidate his weaknesses but to combat them in some way, and I really like that design choice
