I'm live with a game I've never played before (Detroit: Become Human), with maybe some Celeste C-Sides later. I also might make this rough time my new regular time, so lets see how this goes! twitch.tv/kitsuneko111

People think learning a new coding language is hard. It’s not. It’s like learning a different dialect or regional slang. Learning a new paradigm is hard. Changing your entire code structure, methods, concepts… yeah that shit is like a new language…. Anyways I’m learning Unity DOTS right now…

On todays episode of what is the famous thing I’m thinking of so I can use it as a reference to make in a video game, once again featuring hermitcraft. Specifically Grian’s S6 base. #satisfactory time I guess…

so, anyone has any idea of how much storage you need to store 48 hours worth of firehose data with the current usage?

#Satisfactory by Coffee Stains has been a long time favourite of mine and it released to 1.0 earlier today. It’s absolutely beautiful!

And in a classic case of adhd back to back unrelated posting, is there a git system for moderation lists? I get why labels don’t make sense but I can see use cases to check out one point in time of a list and then see who was added this week and make sure it’s still accurate

So I’m aware there’s some scientific stuff with breeding that keeps dogs as breeds not species apparently, but I don’t think Darwin studied the breeding of all those finches? And a lot of other animals *can* cross-breed so why is a finch a new species because of its beak but a chihuahua is a husky?

Reddit has been no help so I may as well ask here too, does anyone know what specs I would need to host my own feed? Network, CPU and storage are all considerations, and does my server just respond with a filter to apply, or does it need to be potentially actively processing each post?

Looking to make an FPS game sometime, was thinking about movement today. For a cross between valorant and titanfall/apex, would movement be better as physics based or translation based (no momentum) #gamedev

What if we start using #forlater so that we can easily make feeds or search for things

Maybe it’s the pre-coffee ADHD gremlin talking but I feel like hard boiling every egg in the house would be funny. Is that actually funny or would people be mad?

I love this aesthetic, might have to use it in a game or something

Welcome back to another episode of Lana does random coding at midnight. This show does not have many willing followers, however the people who do end up viewing it are usually surprised I can code at this time but not anything else. Yes of course I was also too bored to game. #adhd

My discovery has slowly become full of politics and journalism no matter how much I try and mute things or say I want less of it, anyone able to help steer me back to cats and lesbians like I started on?

One thing I'm learning to love about this app is that if I see something that upsets me, I don't like, or I'm just not in the mood for I can mute it, add it to a list, block it, whatever and it's gone immediately. No refresh, no caching, no give me 5 minutes, it's just gone. Amazing.

Does the absolutely massive flop that is Concord mean that Cyberpunk will no longer be the example of a badly released AAA game? Also I know Sony are listening to this mess but EA and XBox I hope you are too, this could be you next. Big companies should be making big games not just big profits.
