Came up with a period accurate B+ regulator today. Gonna build this once i have the transformer too.

A less confusing illustration of what this circuit does. It creates two copies of the input signal, one that's identical, and another that's shifted 180° in phase. This is used for driving push-pull style arrangements.

Reason: i've been designing a compressor/limiter for my mastering chain. I just finished the buffer and cathodyne phase splitter. Ignore the noise feathering, my bench PSU is a switcher.

Man what an absolute crap day. Gonna do some tinkering to get my mind off of things, that always helps :3 Finally building some proper breakout boxes for my tubes on the bench.

Still waiting on some parts to arrive but built a little test fixture to replace the rotted/burned parts aaand... It works again! :)

Saving a PCB with water damage. Not pretty, but i made it work again :) Now waiting on replacement parts. PCB has a silicone conformal coat now too, that'll hopefully prevent this type of PCB rot.

Started a rough protoboard version of the complete driver today. Pretty happy with the progress so far. The 2x2 square of trimmers are the two bias/gain networks and the other 2 respectively are attack and release basicly.

We're going all in and trusting LTSpice on this one. Building a mirrored version of the circuit now after tuning it a bit for more common parts.

Something like this should do :) Can be powered from a single 24V rail and easily generates the needed voltage swing. Easy for a single NPN because i only need µA's basicly.

The new table extension really adds to the new setup :) Also, the cheap HV supply is a full on score, the only thing off is that the integrated meter needs calibration due to some overshoot. The actual output is spot on from 6 to 600V.

Oh yeah, it's looking and feeling very nice so far. This might be a secret tip chat. I'll test it a little and report back.
