I googled the name of a minor (pony) character from the cartoon “Stressed Eric”. The result was a mini lesson in the limitations of LLMs.
Google search result for “bouncy complainant”:

…usually relates to legal liability, injury claims, or consumer disputes involving inflatable bouncy castles.

I know this isn’t important in the scheme of things but… *propellers*?
BBC News article: “Video of the incident some 65 km (42 miles) west of the capital Athens shows one of the two Bell helicopters hitting the propellers of the other, which bursts into flames and crashes in a ravine.”

That’s … not how cybersecurity works. Source: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
News report: He added that whilst a review of the OBR's cyber-security could be "helpful", the solution was to "normalise and randomise file names" so that unpublished material could not be discovered earlier than intended.

Quite a morning on the shores of Loch Long! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
A view across Loch Long. Blue sky. The Arrochar Alps are perfectly reflected in the still water.

Made this little watercolour. It got rained on which… vastly improved it.
A simple watercolour of the Arrochar Alps viewed across Loch Long. Rain drops have subtlely added interest.

Fun (for nerds) pic of recent upgrade to our local grid infrastructure. Half done: newer insulators and conductors on right.
A UK transmission tower (“electricity pylon”). The right hand side insulators are small and grey. The left (older) conductors are larger and brown.

Work was being done on our local transmission towers today. Gave a distinctly Stållenhag vibe to the park.

Cilla Black somehow involved!
An obscure “pop” singer called Cilla Black came to open the ship’s closed circuit television - Joe had a good sense of what went down well with the Lower Deck. At that time she was still wearing her original nose. George tried to chum up to her by giving her his “White” name tally - Cilla was born Priscilla White - which left George with a grave problem trying to get a replacement before Joe should notice that his helicopter pilot was unlabelled.

Provenance: HMS London, 1963.
One of Joe’s innovations was name badges for all and several hundred were ordered in Bexoid with different colour combinations for different branches. All Officers were issued with a safety-pin badge with white lettering cut out of black except for Joe who had red lettering. There were recurrent crises for those who lost their badges except for the Officer who had organised this for Joe, who had prudently ordered spares for himself, and, as I saw in the box of leftovers, there were several spare “Bartosiks”.

If you believe this you’ll believe literally anything.
X post from the ADL: “This is a delicate moment. It’s a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety.

It seems that
@elonmusk
made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge.

In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let’s hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.”
