After some deliberation (driving to the gym), stepdad has finally come up with a name for his new kitten. It just suddenly came to him. Freyja. He says she looks like a "Freyja". She's not quite used to us, but she is happily warming up to her new, human daddy.

She looks exactly like one of Madryn's medium-haired, gray siblings. And she looks like a gray, mini-Madryn. 😮 Dad is allegedly a short-haired gray cat (Russian blue?) and Momma is a short-haired black cat. That's exactly how Cora Cobb created the Nebelung in 1985 in Denver, Colorado.

New t-shirt! (it's not even my design) #LastWeekTonightwithJohnOliver merch shop was selling them. The squirrel is the LWT mascot: Mr Nutterbutter. It's a response to Buc-ee's and their sue-happy ways. Even shop logos that had less than 0.000001% resemblance were on their hit-list.

Not like it matters. But here are my translations of Lady Riju's "prayer" to her ancestors before battling Vah Naboris. It's stupid to think she would recite it in Ancient Gerudo. But, in my own little world: it makes sense. Gerudos definitely would speak Hylian to Link, so I don't bother.

My notes for future "Advice From Your Gerudo Auntie" shorts. Written in a more informal writing system. Robert S. Rennie created it SPECIFICALLY for my dialect of the language 15 or so years ago. It would literally be illegal to use the official alphabet in my work, so I use a less formal version.

I decided that I needed to go finally pick some blackberries that had finally ripened on the forest trail. There are a lot more that are still green (but I'll be back for them!) In Nordic countries: Berry picking in the forest is a favorite, summer activity. Berry picking as therapy: 10/10.
