#ResidentEvil is so worth your time. Creepy, gory, a bit funny, a and with a strong essence of what-is-that-around-the-corner suspense. It will scare you and make you say “wtf” at the same time.

“Brass Against” is one of my favorite studio cover bands. Check out their cover of the Pot by Tool. I’ve also seen them live. “The Main Squeeze” is another one of my favorites. They cover a lot of classic rock. Great songs gain new life with different vocalists & sometimes, better musicians.

Dry brined roast pork loin. Then I coated it in balsamic vinegar, EVOO, garlic, pepper and rosemary. I reverse seared it over mesquite charcoal and then gave it a high heat blast at the end. Best $5 I ever spent. Then I took the leftover pork & added it to a ready to eat ramen. Gotta stretch the $1

College was not easy! My BA was in history… do you know how much writing we had to do? Now it seems like folly with ChatGPT, but keeping up with the weekly readings, centralizing your arguments, making sure you are within a number of pages, making sure your citations are correct and accurate, etc.

Yes, I called him out twice. Once when he thought he was in bounds & the league rules said he had to take a drop zone shot. I also passively called him out on his pace. “Phil, you in a hurry? Why do you play with high octane?” He didn’t catch my drift.

Played disc golf this morning with a player that was in a complete hurry, purposely miscounted his throws, and did not observe the etiquette of waiting for you to putt or upshot when you are further out; essentially cutting in line. He could play better than me, but he didn’t respect the game.

This meal goes back generations. Frankly, I never liked the combination. As a kid I preferred ham & eggs. Now as an adult, I love nopales with eggs, spam with eggs, chorizo or mushrooms and eggs. But we all know the struggle that was eggs & weenies. We’ve all tasted it once.
