I made an attempt at FWA26, with the great support of my leaders, but there is so much need for better and fuller information sharing, year-round development, and structure… and all of those take the time and effort many leaders don’t have. Reflecting on Gomi’s comments, the biggest one for me is how difficult (nigh on impossible) it is to delegate many con leadership decisions or tasks. Not because someone won’t do it as well or better, but because it takes time and conscious effort to structure, info dump, mentor and support. (1/3)

Went to an industry webinar with an Old Hand in the events world… and the sexism in that industry is still alive and well. Left me nauseous coming out of the room.
