The only good thing to come out of the bot/AI thing in pokémon is that at least from time to time I might get to fight an impossible opponent which is fun to me because I love when I get to fight people better than me, but, even that should be limited, specially on ladder

Honestly, I hate it so much how it can shape the game regardless of format, even if VGC is more threatened by it. I don't like this whole hyper optimisation mindset that some people have and bringing this to competitive Pokémon is something I hate, specially because it will be essentially cheating

The biggest problem with AI in VGC is how it makes any info pre match an even bigger liability, specially if you were on stream and after Day 1 because of knowing the teams and therefore being able to use AI to prepare against everyone, so, having that much possible variance can help against it

I think the only realistic way for VGC to adapt to AI is just to allow players to go nuts and use as many teams as they want with as many changes as they want along the way (and adding an in-game team sheet to make that not a pain), like, maybe not every round, like Smogon, but at least ever match

I think it's because of the eyes, if he had normal eyes he would be just a dude, but, those eyes give him a bit of that kind of ugly and weird but cute details to make him normal looking and memorable. Big fan

This is my son Muppet. He’s 2.5 years old and he’s the light of my life. Sadly, he got really sick this weekend and this morning went to the vet where he was triaged and diagnosed with Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Up until a couple years ago, FIP was a death sentence for cats.

its really sad that uma 7th in america was cancelled but i hope that rather than discouraging these franchises from expanding into english speaking audiences in the future, it encourages them to reach out more to other countries like canada & uk (i hope the London show goes well ;;)
