Kinda forgot about Bluesky for a bit. I get really burned out on LinkedIn, though, and then I come back around. I'm working on a bunch of blog posts that are cool - deck.gl-raster, NISAR, osm-seed, titiler-cmr, healpix visualization, and more. And the saguaros are blooming already!

Feeling really heartbroken about the devastation at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I've seen reports of between 50-80 structures lost including historic buildings. I don't have a lot of faith that things will be rebuilt. Perhaps we just return it to its original inhabitants. 📸: North Rim, 2021

You don't grow up in the PNW without hearing stories about the Mt. St. Helens eruption. My parents watched it from the side of I-205 in Portland. 27 years later, I had a chance to look into the crater myself. Somehow, I've misplaced the photos. #mtsthelens

Just dropping in with a timeline cleanser for you. After 6+ months of no water, the canyon benefited from snowmelt, and the creek flowed again. The desert offers many metaphors for resilience, survival, tenacity, and something beautiful emerging from seemingly insurmountable circumstances.
