Chinese strategists can’t believe their luck. All they have to do is be steady, reliable, consistent. Can be demanding, attach a bunch of strings, even somewhat exploitative, and they still look more appealing as a global power than alternatives just by talking in good faith and following through.

Parece-me que é outra abordagem para chegar aos mesmos resultados: o aprofundamento da diferenciação social entre classes. Entre os que dispõem (de meios, capacidades, independência, etc) e os que não têm, tentando bloquear os mecanismos de igualdade de oportunidades, aumentando a desigualdade.
