if you're in photoshop you can separate dark from white in the channels window (...I think it was channels, PS seems to be crashing for me now oops), if you click a small circle icon at the bottom it selects white parts of the canvas, so you delete that, then lock transparency and brush over

Had this lying around in a sketchbook unfinished for a while because I started it as yet another stress relief doodle during applying for a job, got the job (wooh!) and then got crazy busy for a while, so all these tiny guys had to wait.

Really enjoyed playing through the demo for Vholume, new game by one of the Straftat/Babbdi devs and featuring music by 1000 Eyes (Signalis composer). In love with the architecture, the hidden little snapshots of lives lived in an impossible space.

Click for bigger view! There's details. I keep forgetting to post this when I post older things, becase it's from like 2015. Anyway, big city from one of my stories, made for a school project - big detailed illustration to be printed at 3m wide. It's still my fave thing I've ever worked on.

Extremely detailed cityscape illustration showing lots of tiny houses stacking high, multiple cats and birds, lots of tiny people doing things in the streets, and an industrial zone in the far distance.
