In 2025 Yellow Wagtail territories around Torness and Skateraw decreased to 8 due to extensive cable-laying in fields around Torness. With quarrying being extended to the Dry Burn, much of the remaining nesting habitat will be destroyed. @birdinglothian.bsky.social @eastlothiancouncil.bsky.social
