So the show is great, but also extremely memorable is this pic of Hamish showing up in this and stating that he was in 'dis-pear'

Yeah, you can distract in Townfall as well, but segments with this guy are suspiciously sparse on them. Especially one a bit later in the game where you have to cross back and forth multiple times. I gave up and just got real good at sprinting

Alien Isolation felt fairer, and that was still not something I stuck with in the long run. It's a testament to how pretty the game is, and my overall devotion to all things Silent Hill, that I stuck with it regardless. 😆

Yeah honestly if it was branded under a different name and I knew more clearly going into it how stealth heavy it was, I'd likely have different feelings. I still think it's solid, but I think it's very important people know it's a STEALTH FIRST game going in, because that is just not my jam

Chapter 4 was where I almost quit, because it stopped feeling fair. Slow crouching into rooms, no flashlight, closed door, and a certain enemy crashes in like the fucking Kool-Aid man and one shots me out of my hiding spot. I'm glad I ultimately finished it, but it was a very close call there

That's a great shot! (and not at all helping with my 'no more piercings' boundary I put on myself 😆)

It's super pretty, and some of the art direction is just amazing! Chapter 4 was where I hit the bit stealth wall with a particular enemy and eventually throttled the difficulty because I just wasn't having fun, or having a bad time for the right reasons (i.e. too spookied)

I did both, and I'm having a better time with Resonant. I love a lot about Townfall, but at my core I'm not really a stealth gamer and that's 95% of that game. Resonant's quirky 'fly around and smash ALL the things!' is much more my current vibe

Nice dinner, then chilling out playing Control Resonant and tinkering in the workshop.
