Literally use LibreOffice. It's free. It's easy to use, 0 learning curve. It runs on all platforms. It works just as well if not better than Office365 or Google Docs. It is 100% compatible with them. I used it exclusively in college and I did a LOT of complex spreadsheets and writing.
