Im probably going to start offering simple lower cost portrait commissions in the next few weeks and hopefully I have some success with that…

Lady is staying at the vet for a few hours. Her intestines look full of gas and liquid, so they are gonna give her some injections and watch her this afternoon.

Uck just read that I should put an anti ai statement on my portfolio site... I get it but I hate it. Like it just sucks I alway need to be the one who jumps through hoops and so often Im barely treated like a human being by the people Im trying to be hired by... Now another thing to do...

It’s the first day of fall, libra season, the autumn equinox, Persephone’s descent and my birthday! 🎂 🍂🥳 Any shares of my art would be lovely and appreciated 💛

Black and white illustration representing Persephone during the autumn equinox. A frame surrounds the whole thing split in half in black and white. The black half of the frame surrounds the white section and vice versa. The middle horizontal section is torn in half like a piece of paper representing the division between the above worldand the underworld. In the bottom right corner are wispy swirling smoke lines going towards the centre with 3 bats of hades flying from right to left. In the bottom left is the symbol for Persephone. In the middle are two pomegranates one whole and one cut in half. In the top half on a black background is a bee in reference to Persephone’s name as “honeyed one” and the myth that they lead her to the underworld each year. On a circular medallion with narcissus flowers (the flowers she is said to be picking when hades grabs her) dropping petals around it. As the petals drop to the underworld they turn to black. In the top left is the Greek word for Persephone written vertically.

Altar prayer card for the goddess Diana. A rectangular card has a black border with parts of the Orphic hymn for Diana surrounding it as a border in white text. In the bottom right are twin arrows over a crescent moon representing her and Apollo. In the bottom left and top right are white outlined 8 point stars. Inside the border is a marble shockwave black and grey pattern with white outlining that forms an arch at the top with lining to look like columns on both sides. In the middle is a stag skull with painted antlers of a diamond and star pattern. Behind the skull are smaller 8 point stars and cloud ripples. Above the skull is a scraggly branch of queen Anne’s lace with small dots above. In the top corners are two constellations for Sirius as her hunting dogs and Roman numerals for 13 and 8 for the date of the Nemoralia festival.

Night Magic - Black and white ink illustration of a magic filled Victorian house with an ominous surrounding. of a shrub framing the left side and bottom of the page. In the middle is a Victorian revival house with a spire to the right and a porch. Over the porch is a bison skull and the windows are celestial stain glass. The roof is black with cosmic looking weather vanes. 5 Crows are flying overheard from the back to the front of the house and the sky is The sky is textured with swirling pattern of lines and with black dot stars

Oh hi. It's my birthday 🙂 I have to say that diving into acrylic painting and book illustration over these last few years has been incredibly rewarding, and I enjoy learning more, painting more, and getting older really is quite great!

Cover illustration for "Fusion Fragment" showing a portrait of a woman facing upwards, as a mirror shatters around her. The mirror shards all show eyes of other women trapped within them. Two mask shards are also falling around her face, inspired by Japanese kabuki masks, representing her mixed heritage.

Acrylic painting showing Sauron's defeat by Lúthien and Huan at Tol-in-Gaurhoth

Book interior illustration for "Fangs for Nothing", showing the MC Winnie in a castle hallway. The scene takes inspiration from Gothic horror and Gothic romance movies, from the nightgown design to the candelabra.
A black cat hides behind Winnie's leg, a vampire hides in a dark doorway, and the red candlelight reflects of a suit of armor and several empty painting frames.

Acrylic character illustration for a fantasy book commission. The two characters are shown in a sparse, partially destroyed ice palace hall. Both characters have unnaturally pale skin and are clad in black.
