Additional thought. FIA have sent a patch to teams to update their cars so this doesn't happen again, they've done this within 10 minutes of the issue. I think the only way this is possible is if it's vibe coded (unless it's like a value or two to change) The debacle may not be done yet.... #F1

One of my favourite memories ever is huddling under a gazebo at Gardens by the Bay in Singapore at 9 in the evening with about 20 other people waiting for rain exactly like this to stop. Felt like I was about to be spit on by a dilophosaurus. Unironically fantastic experience.

Things to be aware of about SE Asian rain if you've never experienced it: it can be torrential in one spot, and bone dry 500m away. And then when it stops? Everything dries out in about five minutes because heat. This is NOT a straightforward decision for teams when it comes to the starting tyre
