A watercolour study from a trip to Egypt Lake! Next time I’ll go a little lighter with the sketch. This was right before the thunderstorm rolled in! ⚡️

When taking Eric on his first backpacking trip, we woke up to a frosty morning. Those muted cool colours before the sun came up were perfect. Hated the cold - worth the views?

I little study of Floe Lake. This place has the prettiest sunrises ever! At night you can hear the cracking of the glacier echoing off the walls.

I’ve been doing some painting when I can find time. I love doing studies from the places I’ve hiked to. This pool was the same colour as blue Gatorade. In the back is Yukness Mountain.
