This kitchen manager watches me like a hawk.

I felt bad that he only had the top two mats to lay on, so I made a pillow yesterday to put under them. I think he likes it. #caturday

Also chose two other teas to try.

Two packages of loose leaf tea. They are printed with Friday Afternoon Tea at the top in a field of green. Halfway down the package the plastic is clear and you can see the tea inside, and below that is the name of the tea above a small field of red. The left side tea is called Night Market, which is a dirty chai flavor, and the right is called Keepers Of The Forest, which has "earth and fruit and leaf and nut" flavors.

Day 3.

@mollardemoseyer.bsky.social and I didn't do much in the way of Christmas gifts this year, but we did get ourselves this fun cocktail advent calendar from Straightaway Cocktails. We started opening on Christmas Day, and the Paper Plane was our day one bevvie.

A bag of Trader Joe's "Thanksgiving Stuffing" seasoned kettle chips, angled so one can't tell that three-quarters of the bag has already been eaten. In the last 20 minutes.

I bought this plant on a whim. It wasn't flowering at the time, but the nursery tag made it look kinda cool. I'm glad I did, I love that the flowers look like little galaxies.

On NYE we usually have an assortment of appetizers and watch the Thin Man movies. Decided to change it up this year. (Tip of the hat to @awolverton.bsky.social for the recommendation of Max and the Junkmen!)

Husband and I did a smol Christmas this year, and for presents to ourselves we took advantage of a couple of sales and some Criterion credits that I forgot we had. Perfect Days was the only one of these we'd never seen.
