It's a new week, which means I have a book out THIS WEEK! It's full of puzzles, quizzes, doodles, games and a brand new short story about...well, that would be telling. @walkerbooksuk.bsky.social uk.bookshop.org/p/books/loki...

Spoiler: It's not going to be any of those, because he loves teasing stories he refuses to tell...

A copy of LOKI: A Bad God's Guide to Unruly activities: 50 puzzles, games and quizzes. It's laid on a bright blue background with various school props like pens, sharpener, notebook, ruler, pencils. The cover is a scribbly load of doodles with the word LOKI big in the middle with a circle around it, horns sprouting either side. No, viking helmets did NOT have horns but Loki likes to add them everwhere to troll archeologists. Oh and the book is by me, Louie Stowell, but on the cover my name is par scribbled out to make it into Loki God of Asgard.

Dressing up can be a fun way to celebrate World Book Day. But don't forget, dressing up is not the main purpose. Not every child enjoys it, nor do people always have the time and/or money. Don't forget, many book characters feature children in everyday clothing!
