Cheers. I'll have a read of this when I'm finished my marking sprint/marathon. The mathematician Kevin Buzzard is good on this issue. Lots of talks of Gibson YouTube. It gets very interesting to hear him talk about what it actually is that mathematicians do. Not that I'm doing much of it!

I helped out a little bit during the campaign, installing Vote Green posterboards around North Trafford, by cargo bike naturally! And @traffordgreenparty.bsky.social are now up to 7 seats on Trafford Council, with their three new seats on the night coming from these Northern wards.

I try an listen to Jonathan Bowman's archive programme every Sunday and then Brendan O'Connor's roundtable discussion of the papers and the news, to keep in touch like.

You need some kind of app to download them Emmet. Boom boom. I listen to a fair number and enjoy them. It's just like a revival of radio in some ways. Even down to the hosts reading out corny ads for sponsors like an old timey American radio host. BTW, is that mem-pic a Dublin version of this one?

Quite daunted by it to be fair. I've done the 12 hour version the last three years, which seems short now by comparison. Been averaging about 80 km a week.

Wish you all the best for that. And yes I'm still all over the endurance stuff. Next up is my longest yet - the 24 hour Ultra Loop Track Edition, by Resolute Running. On a standard 400m athletics track. Starts Sat 30th May 09:00 am, keep going until 09:00am on the Sunday. Furthest wins.
