I helped out a little bit during the campaign, installing Vote Green posterboards around North Trafford, by cargo bike naturally! And @traffordgreenparty.bsky.social are now up to 7 seats on Trafford Council, with their three new seats on the night coming from these Northern wards.

Previously, in order to adhere to the norms of public discourse and to grant positive intentions even when I may disagree with methods or root values, I have strongly but (mostly) respectfully critiqued these sorts of educational initiatives, but those days are over.

**These people are my enemies.** I have only ill will for this project and wish them failure, because this vision for a future of postsecondary education is a recipe for mass immiseration and public disempowerment. Imagine a world where Microsoft, Google, McKinsey, et al ... get to determine what and how you learn from cradle to retirement.

Just the one and a half marathons today, with 974m elevation gain, around a sunny, warm, hilly and very crowded with park goers, Heaton Park today. Official distance 67.2 km, 25th position out of 300. A tad tired now.

Turned 50 today. Still firmly stuck in the 'feats of endurance' stage of my mid-life crisis, so dutifully ran a 50km long run this morning to mark the day, and top off a fiftieth year that covered 2,536 miles. Pizza dinner with the family tonight to facilitate recovery.
