Update: They just referenced Clannad. What fucking weeb wrote this shit?

Still can't watch Zach Cregger's Resident Evil so instead I'm currently forcing myself to sit through the Netflix show.

It sucks living where I am as a cinephile because 99% of the time I have to wait for digital to see the new hot movie and by that time the hype cycle has fully ran its course from “wow that was so good!” to “Erm, was it REALLY that good? *pushes glasses *”

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Looking forward to this but I'm worried that the long wait between episodes will cause a similar issue as TADC, where people will get way too carried away with lore and theories, create their own headcanons, let it fester, and then get mad when said headcanon doesn't happen.

Beat Onimusha. Bro that was a fucking Video Game goddamn my hands were sweating. This was what I wanted out of Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei. On to Fire Emblem now.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

You know, it took me this long to realize that the way certain people react to the phrase "Free Palestine" is just "So you hate waffles" on a macro scale.

110

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Didn't realize Fortune's Weave comes out tomorrow (or literally in a couple of minutes where I live). I need to beat Onimusha ASAP.

000

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Beat MGS4. I'm gonna take a while for the whole thing to sink in, but I loved it. That cutscene didn't feel that long, if I'm being honest.

100

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Finally back to MGS4 after being rudely interrupted by Mother Nature. Snake going through the microwave hallway is exactly how I felt during the 48 hours after Hurricane Lowell.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

Anyways, here’s some shots I took of the highway the morning after #huricanelowell. Thankfully they managed to get it up and running again fairly quickly, but this was still wild to wake up to.

A shot of a highway covered with rocks, with a crowd of people in the distance.

More rocks on the highway with a crowd of people gathered.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

I’m back. Spent the last 2 days with no power and no service. Couldn’t contact anyone and couldn’t even check for updates. Felt completely cut off from everything.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

I lived. FINAL VERDICT: Hurricanes are scary. Would not recommend.

110

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Well it looks like I'm about to experience my first hurricane. Fuck.

010

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

This reminds me how some Silent Hill fans were upset at Silent Hill f for similar reasons, but had that game come out without the Silent Hill title, people would've been like, "This is basically a Silent Hill game". I feel the same about how Cregger's film looks so far.

010

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 06/09/2026

Rewatching Welcome to Raccoon City. This is my third time watching it, and every time I'm like, "It can't be as bad as I remembered it was, right? I'm sure I'll find things to like this time," and then I watch it, and yes, it's as bad as I remembered it, and no, I can't find things to like.

Living on Kauai, every new forecast image of Hurricane Lowell feels like this.

Screenshot of the "grazing" mechanic from Deltarune.

000

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

The fact that hurricanes can just do this sometimes is some straight bullshit.

Hurricane Lowell making an illegal U-turn straight towards the Hawaiian Islands.
"TRACKING LOWELL: Category 4 hurricane Lowell forcasted to curve north towards islands."

Nobody hates queer media more than... right-wing bigots still, but also queer people, so there really is no winning.

MGS4 has so many more parallels to MGS3 than I would've thought. I guess I should've expected it, but I went in thinking it would be more of a sequel to 1 and 2, with brief references to 3 here and there, so I'm a bit surprised by how much of 4 feels like 3 and how much the story ties into 3.

Snake literally took psychic damage from being called old he's like me fr.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Forgot to post about this but throughout Act 1 of MGS4 I was thinking, "Wow, David Cage really DID rip this off for that one sequence in Beyond Two Souls." All he did was remove the gameplay and made everything aggressively straight.

It's not lost on me that her name is Sunny and she cooks eggs.

Bro was that the funny Revengeance guy?

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

This reminds me of how I was in high school during the whole "anti-Japanese games" era and I had to temper my love for Devil May Cry because it was the cool thing to scoff at over-the-top Japanese / anime bullshit.

130

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Started playing MGS4 for the first time. Besides MGS2, it's one of the entries I know the least about outside of maybe a few moments. Never even seen gameplay footage.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 27/08/2026

Bro I just woke up I can't believe this stupid fucking week.

000

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

The gays are NOT having a good week.

000

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 24/08/2026

I literally learned about this yesterday and was led to believe this was coming out soon, only to look up the trailer and find out that this shit was from a year ago. Like, why is this getting traction NOW?

Odyssey peak. 2000th film finally logged. I can watch movies again.

Been trying to get back into drawing after being so busy with summer classes and work for the last couple of weeks. Here's some quick stuff I've done to get me back into the swing of things, as well as stuff I was doodling on and off for the last few weeks. #art #doodles #oc #ffxiv #obsession

Various drawings of a lady wielding various guns (AK47, sawed-off shotgun, pistols)

A drawing of my Final Fantasy XIV character (Including in-game screenshots)

Various doodles of Nikki Freeman from the film Obsession.

I don't have much to say about Lilo & Stitch 2 except either actually film it on Kauaʻi or at the very least do a better job at making Oʻahu look like Kauaʻi because I shouldn't be seeing fucking Diamond Head or Rabbit Island in a film claiming to take place on Kauaʻi.

My theater is playing Spider-Man for a third week just to spite me.

Killer Tune 41 @killertune41.bsky.social · 04/08/2026

Gonna hold off on watching movies for a week just so The Odyssey can be my 2000th film.

Gonna go see Spiderman today wearing an Evil Dead T-shirt because it's the closest thing I have to something Spiderman related.

Enjoyed Supergirl way more than I thought I would. At the very least I liked it way better than either Captain Marvel movie.

I finally beat ARR and am now horribly racist towards Lalafell.

My most film bro opinion is that I love every Christopher Nolan film, even the ones people hate like Tenet and TDKR. Can't help it, he's my guy.

Part of what makes Uwe Boll the worst filmmaker ever is that, unlike Niel Breen or Ed Wood, his movies aren't even bad in a fun or interesting way. There's no passion for the arts, just pure contempt coming from your screen. This is on top of the sheer technical incompetence being displayed.
