The Roottrees Are Dead ended up all the way down in 48th place on my list of 2025s best games, but their new game The Incident At Galley House is a lot better. It's more focused, very well written, great voice acting and just a fun mystery to solve. @galleyhouse.bsky.social #TheIncidentAtGalleyHouse

Mixtape @mixtapegame.bsky.social is definitely not a game for everyone. You probably have to be above 40 years old and a music nerd. Fortunately I am both. In the age of AI slop, this love letter to music is just what I needed. And I hope I am not the only one who still creates mixtapes. #Mixtape

2026 has been a pretty slow year for gaming so far, but at least it has given us Esoteric Ebb @esotericebb.bsky.social. This RPG is kind of half serious, half Monty Pythonesque. It's inspired a lot by Disco Elysium, even though it doesn't quite reach those incredible heights. Still a great game!

Another beautiful adventure game that originally never came out in English. The French game Black Sect is a 1993 remake of an 1990 Amstrad CPC game. The remake came out for Amiga, Atari ST and DOS, and they all look great. Since then the game has had an English fan translation and a remake in AGS.

In the 00s, I played a lot of adventure games in German, because they were "all" from Germany at the time, and the English voice acting was usually awful. I wonder, though, if there are any interesting adventure games from the 90s that were only in German. #DerSchatzImSilbersee #AdventureGames
