Tried meds. Concerta helped a bit but took ages to work (should take about 30 mins to work then last 7~8 hours - for me took 3~4 hours to work but lasted 12~14 hours). Elvanse helped a bit more, but also resulted in a major meltdown (and when not stressed, I still felt I was on the verge of one)

Sure I can feel better for having a "reason", but that doesn't help that much and just gives me a reason to attack myself for using an "excuse".

Personally, for a couple of reasons the diagnosis hasn't helped me much. This is just me, and doesn't reflect on others. Might have helped it I had it 40+ years earlier, but after many decades of masking and being made to feel bad about myself.

Possibly depends on whether you enjoy driving, or just want to get from a to b with as little effort as possible. For me, changing gearat the right moment and getting it right is a big part of the pleasure. Being an auto is a major point against a car.

Not sure the racist views aren't protected in the same way. All depends on how a random judge interprets being unworthy of respect. Which doesn't say anything positive about racist if gender critical views.

While this interpretation of the guidance is correct, doing this would be a clear cut violation of the equality act. If they are pushing the idea that people must use toilets that match the observed sex at birth, then excluding trans people is a clear breach.
