Uranus in Taurus coincided with some of the best and worst times of my life. My Uranian opposition was singularly terrible. Good riddens!

Facebook reminded me that it's been 4 years since I bought my first tarot deck. I have several decks now, including 2 that I use more than this one. This one is well-worn now but the images are still beautiful.

I really need a good telescope. I think I've been looking at Venus for a few weeks and thought it was one of the king stars instead 🤦🏾‍♀️ It's hanging higher in the sky later, so that should've been my clue that it was a planet and not a star.

The Strathmore Music Center has the best concert acoustics I've ever heard. Aside from the fact that Meshell's voice can transport you anywhere, the sound quality made her and the band sound truly transcendent. The videos don't do it justice.

Climbed some small hills to get to my favorite cherry blossom spot and I am exhausted. I didn't intend to take the most strenuous path up to them, but it was a good walk though.

An astrological note about Erykah Badu and the Soulquarians. That story of working on Mama's Gun w/ them is often told like Badu is the outlier since her sun is in Pisces. She actually has Mercury & the north node in Aquarius in the 3rd house. Literally an Aquarian voice and soul purpose.

Thinking about the grand air trine (Pluto♒️, Uranus♊️ & Venus♎️) in the context of the protests & mascots... and I think the mascots are partially examples of Pluto♒️. An innovation on protest that uses humor to challenge the social order. Laughter is a coping strategy for difficulty & darkness.

Yup... Uranus conjunct his Mercury in the 4th with the moon close by. A groundbreaking speech in front of his family. Mars in Cancer transiting his 6th and sextile that Uranus/ Mercury conjunction. Taking a courageous & vocal stance in the context of daily work routines.

And just like that... I finished FCEA 102 today! My 103 chart reading practicum starts in March. I got perfect scores on both my 101 and 102 finals and finished both in half of the allotted time. No notes. Very proud of myself for pursuing this 💯🤸🏾‍♀️🎉

I really love the theory of the birth chart as a map to your soul's lesson plan. That's the core of evolutionary astrology and the focus of my 102 course at the Forrest Center. #blackastrology #astrology

So... let's talk about this "planet parade". Because I'm seeing it everywhere. "Parade" is misleading. These planets aren't really aligned at once. Or even in a straight line. It's much more effective to look for the Venus-Saturn conjunction just after sunset. Like this.

I have the sun in the quadrant 9th, so I love to teach. If I ever become an astrology prof, I'm going to have visual astronomy in the course. It's one thing to say the moon & Jupiter are in Gemini. It's another thing to see it. Stargazing made the astrology more real for me. #blackastrology
