I recently started playing Stalker 2. Amazing game for survival Fallout fans. Not a fan of UE5 optimizations. But it runs smooth enough. However, this is not a pick up & put down game. Updates take 5 hours to patch 80 MB on an M2 SSD & starting it takes 20 minutes before you can play. WHYYYYYY

YouTube is making changes to the YouTube Partner Program (YPP) for *new* applicants. Starting February 1, 2027, creators will need: 1. 8000 Qualified Watch Hours (up from 4000), or 2. 20M Qualified Shorts Views (up from 10M) There are no eligibility changes for fan funding.

Starting Feb. 1, 2027, YPP entry thresholds for new applicants are changing to 8,000 qualified watch hours in the last 365 days, or 20M qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days.

There are no changes to the eligibility requirements to gain access to fan funding features (ex: Super Chats & channel memberships), YouTube Creator Partnerships, or YouTube Shopping. Im pretty sure the only "AAA" Games I'm waiting for are Elder Scrolls 6, Cyberpunk 2, and a new Fallout. I havent had any interest at all in GTA 6 or any other major release. Most of the games i actually get curious about tend to be indie games or super niche weird games these days lol

Friendly reminder that if you have an OLED monitor to turn it off when not using it or at least use a screen saver or keep videos playing on it. Otherwise you risk desktop icons or other things on screen burning into your screen. especially if your using dark mode / themes or a lot of contrast
