A final good morning for 2026, #Septopolis. It's that day! Do as you will. I'll jingle the jar below but know that it is not out of any need. If anything, today, I encourage you to go find a locally owned establishment in your city and buy something. Maybe learn a fact about your local history!

Outro, 30. It's Free Space Day--so you know, do your promo or whatever, share a feature of your place in a topic I missed, or tell me the most interesting thing you learned through this process.

Good morning, #Septopolis. Today is the silly exercise and community engagement question! If you've been playing solo, feel free to skip today. Otherwise, I am specifically asking you to limit yourself to two other Septy participants (especially because automod is banning/spam labeling people).
A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Outro, 29. Oh my, all this talk about neighboring relations with other places has once again caused the walls of the Bluesky Literary Universe to collapse! In this new merged universe, where (who) is your place's main "sister city" and where (who) is your place's biggest rival? How did this happen?!

Good morning, #Septopolis. We go to the wider, surrounding world now as we approach the end! These relationships might have been lightly established with imports and exports, but what about bigger in scale? Twinning arrangements or even warring cities/nations can work here. 👀

As of 987 it’s running “The Catharsis of Mercy,” an older Dolybian tragedy about an impoverished young woman getting revenge. Sitting through the play itself is… a big plot deal. If you read this far, there’s your glaring hint on what TCOM’s name is. I have to now write the play at a high level. 😂

Trade was a very critical portion of early travel efforts of the Palaoans.
Spices and coffees were their main initial exports. The compact size allowed for maximizing how much they could take with them.

I just need you to know you invoked intense feelings of nostalgia with the black velvet paintings with this noto and that the imagery is so fucking cool. But also I must share the greatest thing gained from my marriage (other than the mister, I GUESS):
A framed "black velvet" type artwork centered on a feminine-bodied dryad with tree limbs for arms reaching up to make the canopy with them. The empty space of the image has been colored with yellows and oranges to give the imprssion of a vivid sunset along with greens to highlight the leaves of the limbs.

The image is broken up by a mid-day reflection of door's window. A flame point cat's bit dumb dumb head covers the corner.

This is a beautiful specimen devoid of thoughts.
A dark grey furred cat with a white patch on his chest looks towards the camera. He has remarkably gorgeous brown-amber eyes.

Good morning #Septopolis. Today's question can easily sprawl on for a while depending on the diversity and size of your place and how deeply you want to go. If you're not sure how to keep it snappy, aim for what's important to your story.

The People, 7. What are the demographics (overall population plus ages, genders, race/species/ethnicities, socioeconomic status, etc.) at a high level? Is this typical for the overall region they're in?

Good morning #Septopolis. If you're using this to build something and haven't picked one yet, take today and ponder it (I did this last year in fact!). Then, tell us about how it got this name. It could be serious and directly from in-world or it could be a silly in-joke amongst your friends.
A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Foundations, 6. If you haven't named your city yet, now's the time. Now, why was this name selected by you (or its founders)? What is the history behind the toponym?

I think my favorite part of doing this yesterday was realizing this is the impact of gaming vc with people from all over, imo.

Good morning #Septopolis. Regardless of its current form (unless it is quite baby of a settlement), it had to have been founded with a purpose in mind. ...and because last year it spilled over for a majority of folks, I'm also lumping the who into this question as well.
A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Foundations, 5. Why does this settlement exist in the first place (trade hub, outpost, waystation, etc.)? Who were the founders, and was this a transition from a lifestyle of settling from somewhere else?

Good morning #Septopolis. This is a chance to talk about some of your fantastical creations if you have any or, perhaps in less magical settings, how a particular animal or plant was important. For example, a symbol of hope or calamity or a means of survival (dense calories for harsh seasons).
A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Foundations, 4. Separate from the aforementioned resources, what unique forms of life--magical included--are found in this area? To what importance do these hold to the founding residents?

Good morning #Septopolis. As this "workshop" is intended first to build something from the ground up, we will begin with foundational elements. If the typical "key resources" or even biomes as we know them don't apply: tell us why (like magic or whatever)!
A daily prompt card for #Septopolis 2026, hosted by @khonri.com.

Foundations, 3. Where does this settlement exist geographically (biome, latitude, etc.), and what key natural resources are available there that laid the groundwork for the settlement?

So yes! Sort of. I mostly play with the winter DLC maps to try to make Koronngrad, which is where Morgan and Therion settle down and start a family after committing what can technically be considered A Terrorism there. I keep remaking the map though because I'm never happy with it (screenshot tho).

Good morning #Septopolis. We had our familiarity sesh, now we get into what your chosen place will be. Keep in mind that while the -polis implies a city, this can be flexible to meet your needs. However, please consider the SCALE of what your place is: too big might become too difficult.

Intro, 2. Briefly describe the place you'll be discussing and what purpose the location serves to your work currently; if this applies, where are you at progress-wise?

Good morning #Septopolis! For our first post, we're going slow and spreading the good knowledge of the month around, as well as trying something in an attempt to make the month more manageable for myself. If you have no idea what Septy is, please check my pinned post to avoid jumping ahead! 📌

This ain't even an hour old, the timing is perfect. 😂😂 So, uh, yes! Fioné is quite the team player when it comes to sex and has frequently ended up covered in strange places. Even here, the #nsfw night is still young. 🫣 🎨: @razielnsfw.bsky.social
An erotic black and white illustration done by RazielNSFW, featuring Fioné and Bert Voss. Fioné, a freckled, fair skinned woman with long curly is in the middle of three men (one of which is her husband, Bert), in a group sex situation of her own instigation. She is performing oral sex on one man with a smirk on her face and giving another a handjob. Behind her, Bert, an average build man with short, wavy hair looks down at his wife while his cock is flopped across her ass and lifted mini skirt leaking while he dual wields a cigarette and a martini. Fioné is also covered in quite a bit of fluids on the front end...

I love them.
A screenshot from Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream of mii-versions of Mana and Mori Matsuba lounging about on the tatami floor of Showa-era themed mii-bedroom. Mana has white hair, red eyes, pale skin, wearing a white top with a lemon-patterned long skirt and a straw hat and lays on her back with her arms behind her head. Mori is blond, purple eyes, medium skin, wearing purple pants, a black/white/grey colorblock shirt, purple pants, and a purple newsboy hat and lays on his side staring at Mana. Probably lovingly. #SumLuv While this isn't Kenzō & Mercy, this one still lives in my head as a "damn I cooked." Tell a nerd to go off? That's so swoon worthy (it's more than "one line" but it's one long yap).

#AwesomeCharacters Forever we, the creator, are Team MaMo. Unfortunately it's because they were the first. I could see some other pairs pop up. I'm already anticipating MorixZola. 😮‍💨 With pairings... I'm rigid in my canon couples. But the one that's the MOST strict is Eru. 🧵 🎨: @birdko.art
A digital illustration of a couple having a romantic moment. Mana, a white-haired woman wearing a black dress with lace and red detailing, is sat on a kitchen table with her arms around her partner's neck; Mori, a man with shaggy blond hair wearing a suit, is leaning towards her, holding her by the waist while maintaining eye contact. They are backlit by a warm glow. Characters belong to Khonri on Bluesky.
