I think it's probably a Callisia repens (turtle vine)? They're a cousin to the Tradescantia in the other pot, both in the spiderwort family.

It's a puzzling tip - there's a SouthState Bank in suite 210 at 901 E Cary (James Center), but I'm pretty sure it's not the top floor. And the Omni is in the other half of the James Center (1021 E Cary). 🤔

I love that land use donut chart graphic! 😍 For parking specifically, PRN used ODM data to calculate that 25% of the downtown area is parking lots. parkingreform.org/parking-lot-... But now I want to make one of those graphics with all the land use percentages (probably from Parcels again)

I think people generally agree that it's the oldest at 1737. St John's Church was close though, 1741. I guess Agecroft might have a claim in the Theseus-ship sense, but it's not even the same design as the original

Streets, buildings, and addresses are the usual starting point - just click edit on the website and start tracing stuff 😁 Search the wiki if you're not sure how to tag something. (also the OSM US slack is very active and helpful) But yeah it does feel like a lot sometimes, lol

Richmond Virginia has vape shops that have been there longer than the Confederacy was. Build a statue of Francine the Lowes cat, or just any possum. They're more important to the identity of the city at this point. Lucy Dacus has spent more time in Richmond than Jefferson Davis.

Maybe, I don't know either 🤔 ok after reading about it, they only push the emergency alerts to everyone when it's a “considerable” or “catastrophic” threat, and I guess it didn't look that bad on radar for the early ones. The 2pm alert was when the police told them it was bad

Every year, people are killed walking along Nine Mile. Mothers with children, senior citizens. It may not be as high in foot traffic as the Diamond area, but it's much more dangerous.
