15+ years old, but still VERY relevent — and if we had acted 15 years ago, the “better world” we’d be creating would be a LOT better & easier to reach. There are real consequences we’re just starting to see to not heeding this cartoon a lot sooner. Even worse if we don’t heed it now. #ClimateCrisis

Iconic cartoon with people looking at a long list of public benefits connected with climate action, asking “What if it’s a big hoax and we create a better world for nothing?”

The comic strip video for my latest single about weird synchronicities takes in comic writer Grant Morrison and folk singer John Francis Flynn (and if you can figure out why this keeps happening I'd also be interested!) Apophenia? Freaky magic? Pure chance? www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jnxt...

My new solo song. About my partner and I, growing up on different continents, what we were doing at similar times in our life, and how maybe we could have met earlier if we'd made different choices. And apparently it's about teeth as well. Not sure why. #newmusic open.spotify.com/track/3JVmMn...

Day 18: Learning to draw. I’m back copying pages from @2000ad.bsky.social . Packed away all last year’s progs and they’re in a box in the fairly inaccessible attic so if anyone knows the original artists let me know!!! (Because obviously you ALL READ 2000AD! 😀 - And if not, WHY NOT???!!!)

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 25/06/2024

Day 17: Learning to draw. Convinced my partner to pose for a portrait. I’ve made yher look pretty stern and Victorian. However, this is probably the first pic from the book's lessons that feels like, 'okay, now I can do it to a high(ish) level.' I love this book. #art #dailysketch #drawing

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 19/06/2024

Day 16: Learning to draw. Finally gone back to the drawing book. And it makes a big difference. Doing some self-portraits. Pic 1: I think I might be a zombie or a ghost. Pic 2: What the f@ck has happened to my chin!!!??? #art #dailydrawing #learningtodraw #portraits

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 17/06/2024

Day 14/15: Haven’t had much time last few days but managed to knock this out. Apparently I’m now drawing my own ‘comics ‘- or more accurately, drawing the first nonsense that comes into my head. Fun though. (Should really get back to the drawing book) #art #dailysketch #dailydrawing

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 06/06/2024

Day 11: Learning to draw. Still copying pics from comics and having a great time. 1st page from This One Summer by Jillian and Mariko Tamaki. 2nd page from Love & Rockets by Jaime Hernandez, (top left pic from Impending Blindness of Billie Scott by Zoe Thorogood.) #sketching #art #comics

Day 10: Learning to draw. Totally addicted to copying pages out of comics. I should get back to the drawing book, but until then, more from Saga. #saga #art #comics #fionastaples #dailysketch #dailydrawing

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 31/05/2024

Day 9: learning to draw. I’VE GONE OFF-PISTE!!! I’ve temporarily abandoned the book and started drawing pages out of a comic called Saga because I'm impatient. This is great fun. (Original art is by the amazing Fiona Staples) #art #dailydrawing #dailysketch #comics #saga

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 30/05/2024

Day 8: Learning to draw: Faces are HARD! This was a challenge - yet it looks simple. It made me throw the sketch pad across the room! Now I know why Van Gogh cut his ear off!!! (NOTE TO SELF: Throwing a sketch pad and cutting an ear off are not in the same ballpark) #art #dailydrawing #sketch

Kev Sherry @kevsherrystuff.bsky.social · 29/05/2024

Day 7: Learning to draw: Kid on a chair, then our living room full of plants, and our hallway. Find myself really enjoying drawing the ‘mundane’ background stuff and getting lost in detail. (Which is weird, as anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m not good with details!) #art #dailydrawing
